This project is one of five professional development training programs designed exclusively for BCDI 2030 Scholars. Developed and delivered by Canadian higher education institutions, this innovative training series supports Scholars in planning their next steps, building on their experience in Canada and strengthening their long-term career paths.
The University of New Brunswick, in partnership with the online workshop that allows participants to explore different aspects of leadership and develop practical tools to lead with confidence, authenticity and purpose.
Subjects covered:
- Leadership styles and core leadership characteristics.
- Collaborative communication strategies for leading in diverse cultural, professional and regional contexts.
- Practical approaches to managing change and conflict with confidence and good judgment.
- Women’s perspectives on organizational leadership and management
- The important role women play in shaping workplaces and organizations.
