This project is one of five professional development training programs designed exclusively for BCDI 2030 Scholars. Developed and delivered by Canadian higher education institutions, this innovative training series supports Scholars in planning their next steps, building on their experience in Canada and strengthening their long-term career paths.

The Collège Boréal, in partnership with Fanshawe College, is helping BCDI 2030 Scholars transform ideas into action through a four-part workshop.  Participants develop the skills, knowledge and confidence to build an entrepreneurial project of their own.

  • Explore entrepreneurship and women’s entrepreneurship as pathways to business creation and economic opportunity in the African context.
  • Discover key components of a business plan.
  • Understand the potential impact of an entrepreneurial project.
  • Develop the tools and skills needed to present entrepreneurial projects with confidence.
