BCDI 2030 International Scholars’ Network

The BCDI 2030 International Scholars’ Network is designed to foster connections between nearly 700 BCDI 2030 Scholars, promoting collaboration throughout their journey — during and after their time in Canada.

The Network aims to empower Scholars to make a lasting impact in their communities by leveraging their knowledge expertise and interpersonal skills, ultimately promoting active citizenship. More specifically, the Network aims to help Scholars develop the skills they need to enter the workforce when they return to their home countries.

This international network comes to life on the ConnecT communications platform, which provides BCDI 2030 Scholars with a secure space to connect — anytime, anywhere, on their smartphone or computer.

Through ConnecT, Scholars will be able to:

  • exchange, network and get in touch with other scholars from their home country or from the same educational institution in Canada;
  • stay informed about events and activities in Canada and in countries eligible for the scholarship program;
  • develop their skills by participating in training courses, workshops and webinars;
  • consult employment resources and tools;
  • showcase their experience and find out what other scholars are doing;
  • keep in touch with the BCDI 2030 team.

For those returning to their home country, we will also be offering the opportunity to develop their leadership skills by becoming a BCDI 2030 ambassador. In addition to being a spokesperson for the BCDI 2030 program in their home country, ambassadors will be called upon to organize networking activities with the BCDI 2030 team.

If you have any questions or would like to join the network, please contact the BCDI 2030 team at info@bcdi2030.ca.
