This project aims to leverage the modelling expertise of York University, Africa-Canada Artificial Intelligence and Data Innovation Consortium (https://acadic.org) and the Africa Institute of Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) to develop a groundbreaking Ph.D. training program focused on mathematical modelling of climate change and health-related risks. Through collaboration with industrial and government partners, this program will address key application areas including cloud computing, digital cultures, health technology and smart cities. The training will not only cover scientific and engineering aspects but also medical, ethical, legal and social implications of data analytics. It will equip scholars with diverse skills and networks to address pressing global challenges in climate change and healthcare.
