This project supports workforce development and contributes to Tanzania’s sustainable economic growth by offering high-quality, inclusive education and training opportunities tailored to the country’s needs.
Focus areas include the green economy, governance and key industries such as ecotourism and sustainable tourism to support Tanzania’s green economy, and resilient leadership development focusing on governance, administration and key business concepts while exposing them to local industry practices.
Additionally, students will complete a common online program before their departure, aimed at building intercultural competence, professional skills, and connections with peers from Tanzania and other partner institutions. This component fosters collaboration and prepares participants for both their studies and future careers. Students will also participate in an international employability skills course, which will support students to set career goals and activities for their back home plan as well as articulate and demonstrate their learnings and skills from their studies in Canada.
