Over the coming months, the Canadian International Development Scholarships 2030 (BCDI 2030) program will launch numerous terms of reference for institutional partnership capacity-building projects in countries across Africa and Haiti.
Canadian universities, colleges and cégeps that are members of either Colleges and Institutes Canada or Universities Canada are invited to submit proposals. (N.B.: Some projects will be reserved for colleges and cégeps as lead institutions, though universities can join those projects as part of consortiums.)
These new opportunities will expand BCDI 2030’s network of institutional partnerships and support new collaborations that strengthen educational capacity and contribute to sustainable development in partner countries.
BCDI 2030 is helping Canadian colleges and universities establish meaningful partnerships with higher education institutions, ministries and civil society organizations in eligible countries.
Through these strategic partnerships, thousands of learners in countries across Africa and Haiti, including teaching, management, administrative and other staff are receiving customized training to enhance institutional and individual capacities in their home countries. These customized training programs have been designed to address the unique labour market needs and challenges of each partner country.
