This project responds to the urgent need for qualified professionals to combat climate change, promote resilient agriculture, and ensure access to nutritious food while respecting human rights.
It aims to train eight people from partner higher education institutions in Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Mali and the Democratic Republic of Congo through three specialized graduate programs. It includes an innovative complementary training component focused on cross-cutting skills, including digital literacy, local entrepreneurship and community leadership.
Practical intervention projects, planned with local organizations and co-supervised by partner institutions, will enhance participants’ employability and professional integration in their countries of origin. By promoting interdisciplinary collaboration, this initiative creates a network of individuals and institutions across Africa with shared experiences and a commitment to sustainable development beyond their stay at Université Laval.
