This project aims to address the shortage of skilled cybersecurity professionals in Rwanda by offering six full scholarships for a Master’s in Cybersecurity to IT students at the University of Kigali. The two programs offered at Concordia University of Edmonton, Master of Information Systems Security Management (MISSM) and Master of Information Systems Assurance Management (MISAM), aim to equip students with advanced cybersecurity knowledge and practical skills. These programs cover key topics such as network security, cryptography, ethical hacking, risk management, governance, compliance and digital forensics, preparing graduates to meet the evolving demands of the labour market and contribute to Rwanda’s national cybersecurity initiatives.
